KICKS OFF WITH CELEBRTIY FAVORITE LRG
| WHAT: | Orange County’s hottest brands and emerging designers will take center stage at the second annual Style Week Orange County™, from September 24 – 26, at Irvine Spectrum Center®. Nearly 10,000 trend-savvy visitors are expected to attend the runway fashion shows, designer appearances and in-store events. Tickets for seating at each fashion show are $10 per person, and all proceeds will benefit HomeAid Orange County. Tickets can be purchased online at StyleWeekOC.com beginning Aug. 10. |

| WHO: | The premier style event in Orange County will kick off Sept. 24 with the first-ever fashion show for Irvine-based LRG (Lifted Research Group). Special guests on Opening Night will include Ryan Getzlaf, Bobby Ryan and Joffrey Lupul of Anaheim Ducks; Trevor Ariza of the Houston Rockets and formerly with the LA Lakers; Big Black from MTV; and the entire LRG Skate Team, including Chico Brenes, Rodrigo TX and Jack Curtin.
The shows on Sept. 25 will include Designer Showcase Presented by Ezekiel & Active Ride, which will feature the Needle & Thread Competition with graduated Debut Students from FIDM, a competition similar to Project Runway where the winner will receive a $4,000 scholarship and have their designs created and sold in Ezekiel’s Spring 2010 Collection.
A second fashion show that night, Branded: Saluting Emerging Designers Michele Genevieve & Oday Shakar, will feature Oday Shakar, whose gowns have been worn to the ESPY Awards and auctioned off at the Pink Tie Ball, and Michele Genevieve of Hollywood Million Denim, a brand favored by numerous celebrity stylists, and worn by the Real Housewives of Orange County.
Following a Nordstrom fashion show on Sept. 26, the finale of Style Week Orange County will be Metropark Presented by MEK Denim. Celebrity model Albert Reed will model and later greet fans at a post-show party at Metropark. |
