WHO: Project Runway star Nick Verreos, NBA star Trevor Ariza, Ryan Getzlaf of the Ducks, and MTV’s Big Black will be among the celebrities attending Style Week Orange County® next week, which culminates in five runway shows Sept. 24 - 26 at Irvine Spectrum Center®.

WHEN: On Thursday night, Sept. 25, LRG - a fashion favorite among athletes and celebrities - will present its first ever-runway show. Ariza, Big Black, the entire LRG Skate Team and LRG owner Jonas Bevacqua will be available for interviews immediately following the 7:30 p.m. show.

On Friday, Sept. 25, Project Runway star Nick Verreos will attend the Designer Showcase Presented by Ezekiel & Active Ride, featuring the Needle & Thread Competition with graduated FIDM Debut Designer Graduates, a competition similar to Project Runway where the winner will receive a $4,000 scholarship and have their designs created and sold in Ezekiel’s Spring 2010 Collection. Verreos will be on the panel of judges. He will be available for interviews immediately following the 7:30 p.m. show at a VIP party at Active Ride. Media are invited.

A second show at 9 p.m. Sept. 25, Branded: Saluting Emerging Designers Michele Genevieve & Oday Shakar, will feature Oday Shakar, whose gowns have been worn to the ESPY Awards and auctioned at charity galas, and Michele Genevieve of Hollywood Million Denim, a brand favored by numerous celebrities. Shakar and Genevieve will be available after the show for interviews at a VIP party at Macy’s. Special guests at this show include Dawn Olivieri from “Heroes,” actress Krista Allen and Victor Webster from “Melrose Place.” Media are invited.
