Nearly 10,000 flocked to the first-ever Style Week Orange County, September, 2008, at Irvine Spectrum Center to catch the season's hottest trends on the runway. Celebrity designer, star of MTV's The Hills and Orange County native Lauren Conrad kicked off Style Week Orange County, debuting her Holiday Collection in an exciting fashion show that drew 2,500 guests. The week continued with shows by Nordstrom, Macy's, Marie Claire, Seventeen and more, as well as 30 in-store events, and designer appearances by Adam Saaks of Ed Hardy and Olympic medalist and 2008 ESPY winner Gretchen Bleiler, who unveiled her namesake line at Oakley.
